Kitchen, hotel and restaurant food waste is a good source of food material for anaerobic digestion plants.
The Turbo Separator de-packaging machine removes both the biodegradable and non-biodegradable bags and foreign objects with up to 99% efficiency leaving organics to be fed into the digestion tanks.
Biodegradable bags do not decompose during the anaerobic digestion process, causing problems with blocking pumps, screw conveyors and taking up valuable room in the digestion tanks.
Atritor supply the complete system including, in-feed twin screw conveyor, empty packaging conveyor and a low maintenance recovered organics pumping system. A recovered dry material conveyor can be supplied also if required.
The Turbo Separator de-packaging machine is mounted on an access platform and includes controls housed in a floor mounted panel.
